Fat Joe released the following statement:
“I have no beef whatsoever with Jay-Z. In fact, we share a common goal…helping to get Barack Obama elected on Nov. 4th.”
The statement comes, after a online website promoted you'll want to be tuned into Tri-state's WQHT Hot 97!! DJ Kay Slay is going to be premiering the Ultimate Beef Record.
The record hit the airwaves midnight, and it was untitled, “He Asked For It” by Uncle Murda, feat. Jay-Z. In the record, Jigga takes aim at Bronx artist, Fat Joe.
Apparently, Jay's verse on the record is 5 years old!!
Jay-Z also released the following statement:
"THAT’S A FREESTYLE OFF A MIXTAPE FROM AROUND 5 YEARS AGO. MIGHT HAVE BEEN AROUND THE TIME OF S.CARTER [The sneaker and mixtape]. AND DJ KHALED WAS NOT ADDRESSED IN THE VERSE AT ALL."
